Mission San Luis offers a wide range of educational programming for adults.  Our adult workshops provide the opportunity to learn about 17th century Spanish and Native American crafts and lifestyles while expressing your creativity. Participants will gain the skills needed to craft materials similar to those made by 17th century residents of Mission San Luis.

1. Native Pit-Fired Pottery Workshop
   Saturday, May 10 and 17, 2008
   Starting at 9 AM

   Ceramic Artist and Potter Robin Rodgers Express your creativity while learning about Spanish and Native American lifestyles during a workshop at Mission San Luis. Participants gain the skills needed to craft materials similar to those made by 17th-century residents of the Mission. Master the techniques of pinch, coil, and slab production, then learn to pit-fire pottery during this hands-on workshop led by master potter Robin Rodgers. Program duration and cost varies and are stated separately for each workshop or seminar.  All programs will, unless otherwise indicated, be held in the Education Building at Mission San Luis.  Information about how to reach the museum may be found on this site at Visit Us.

Reservation form and payment must be received no later than two weeks prior to the program.  Please make checks out to the Friends of Mission San Luis (FOMSL).  These programs are sponsored by the Friends of Mission San Luis, a private, non-profit organization under the terms of Internal Revenue Service regulations (501-c3).

Refunds will be made if cancellations occur more than 14 days prior to programs.  The sponsor reserves the right to modify programs, change instructors, and cancel them for any reason.  In the event of cancellation, refunds will be offered.  The sponsor is not responsible for costs or damages incident to cancellation.
