October 23, 2000 - Bishop John H. Ricard of the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee says the first Mass in the restored Mission San Luis church in more than 300 years.
May 1, 2006 - Mission San Luis recieves the Preserve America Presidential Award.
December 11, 2006 - Groundbreaking for the Castillo de San Luis.
March 2007 - The Castillo de San Luis opens to visitors.
May 3, 2008 - Groundbreaking for new Mission San Luis Visitor Center.
